The 70th Republic Day was successfully celebrated in our college on 26.Jan.2019 68th Republic Day was celebrated in our College on 26th January 2017 with bomb and show. The College Chairman Mr. R. Ramasamy hoisted the national flag. Mr. R. Premkumar, Managing Trustee and Treasurer, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, The various department heads, the faculty members, administrative staff and the students of MMCAS participated in this function. The Chairman Mr. R. Ramasamy pointed out in that function “the fundamental rights and duties of the people of the Republic in India have been laid down in our constitution. Every citizen of India is uniform in the eye of law, and no one is to suffer because of religion, creed, caste, colour or race”. Agriculture is backbone of our country. However, because of shortage of water and global warming, this profession is not obtained self reliance. We should concentrate both Agriculture and Industries, he emphasized.
